Forest-Based Sector Technology Platform (FTP)

This means that I will not come back to work for MindPulse again as previously foreseen,
but I see this as a personal challenge and an opportunity to realise some of the key ideas of
MindPulse in a sector that I come to believe in very much: the European forest-based sector
FTP was founded in 2005 and it has since then established itself as a progressive enabler of R&D and Innovation
collaborations between actors in different parts of the forest-based value chain and from all parts of Europe.
16 August 2010:
European Commission signs framework contract for project assistance in the area of nano-technology
After a thorough EU public tender evalutation procedure, MindPulse signed a four years contract with the
European Commission. The mission is to provide technical expert assistance to nanotechnology-related research projects
funded under the European Union's Research Framework Programme 7. This very prestigious undertaking
will be conducted with the assistance of the most prominent experts on nanotechnology in Europe.
1 November 2009:
As of 1st November, Johan Elvnert, Managing Director of MindPulse takes on the job as Coordinator
for the Star-COLIBRI project. Star-COLIBRI is an EU-funded project in the area of biorefineries.

Star-COLIBRI is a key project for the European biorefinery sector and a full time commitment.
I will reduce my work for MindPulse proportionally the coming two years. However, MindPulse will
continue to develop its business concept and offer high quality services.
